Why AMG exists.

AMG was founded in 2014 with a clear conviction: people deserve to understand the strategy before they commit to a solution. The financial industry can be opaque, transactional, and product-first. We chose a different path.

We built AMG to be a planning-first firm — one where clients are walked through their options, taught how the pieces fit, and supported through every decision. Our practice spans retirement income, tax-efficient design, insurance strategy, business planning, and legacy coordination.

Ahmande "Mondo" Grimes brings a rare mix of real-world grit, creative strategy, and financial education to the planning table. After a 13-year career in the music industry, he entered financial services in 2014 and built AMG around a simple belief: people deserve to understand the strategy before they commit to the solution.

Today, Mondo leads AMG's client work nationwide, with a focus on retirement strategy, protection-first planning, and the design conversations that make sophisticated strategy understandable.
