Ahmande “Mondo” Grimes’s path to financial services was anything but typical. After a successful 13-year career in the music industry, he brought his creativity and drive to the insurance space in 2014. He built his foundation in final expense before expanding his expertise to include IUL, whole life insurance and annuities. Guided by real-world grit and creative strategy, Mondo’s journey shaped his signature approach: education first, pressure last.
Today, Mondo leads AMG & Associates, a Florida-based firm serving clients nationwide with a focus on life insurance and annuity strategies. The practice reflects Mondo’s own purpose to align, multiply and give — helping clients align their resources, multiply them with protection-first planning and build the freedom to give generously. Mondo is the author of “Awaken the Spartan Within YOU: The 7 Disciplines to Build the Confidence and the Mindset of a Spartan.”
Mondo lives in Melbourne, Florida, with his wife, Salina, and their five children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending meaningful time with his family and crew. Mondo is also a self-proclaimed foodie — he loves exploring great cuisine across the Sunshine State.
